When Letter of Consent (LOC) Is Mandatory

There must be a Letter of Consent (LOC) for the DP holders. They are also firm owners in order for them to travel.Applicants seeking Letters of Consent to Work in Singapore must be qualified Dependant’s Pass holders. Who may take part in this event?

To be eligible for a LOC, you must be one of the following types of business owner:

• An ACRA-registered firm run by a single person.
• The owner of an ACRA-registered business.

A director of an ACRA-registered company must register if he or she has at least a 30% share in the company.

At least one Singaporean or Permanent Resident who earns at least the current Local Qualifying Salary and has contributed to CPF for at least three months must be recruited if you want your LOC renewed.

Owners of companies that have DP LOCs are eligible to apply.

What are the conditions for existing holders of DP LOCs who are also owners of a company?

Anyone who has an existing LOC and wants to keep operating their company until 30 April 2022 is allowed to do so, or they may apply for a one-time renewal of the LOC. In order to continue working in Singapore, they must meet the conditions for LOC renewal or get a relevant work visa.

Consider submitting an application

• Your dependent’s pass must be valid for at least three months after you apply for a visa.
• If you don’t, you’ll have to reapply for a Dependant’s Pass.
• The majority of cases are processed in four weeks or less.
• Renewals, cancellations, and replacements of Letters of Credit are all options available to business owners.
• It is possible to renew, revoke or substitute Letters of Consent for Dependant Pass holders who are also business owners.
• You have the ability to cancel or renew a Letter of Consent before it expires. If you lose your LOC, you may be able to receive a new one.

Expectations About Your Behavior

• Your dependent’s pass must be valid for at least three months after you apply for a visa.

• You must renew your licence when it expires.
• You will be able to renew your LOC at the same time as your Dependant’s Pass.
• It is possible to extend your LOC for an additional six months before its expiration date.

You may cancel your ticket for the 15th of February beginning on the 1st of February by completing a cancellation request.
